Celebrate Recovery was initiated by Saddleback Church with a batch of 43 people, sixteen years ago. The program was designed to help individuals with bad habits, hang-ups, and those who were hurting, to realize the loving power of Jesus Christ In their process of recovery. Celebrate Recovery has the distinction of helping over 10,500 individuals recovery at Saddleback Church. More than 70 percent of the members are from outside the church. A resounding eighty-five percent of the participants have gone on to stay with the church, with over half of them becoming church volunteers.
